UCT’s R&D and manufacturing of thermal spray materials can be traced back to the Year 1978, when professor Jia Yongchang, the CTO of UCT, was then still serving as the head of BGRIMM’s Material Department. While up to now, UCT has already combined its thermal spray system, material and coating service under one roof, and committed to providing our customers with qualified products and services.

With various industrially proven and process controlled manufacturing methods, UCT can offer a wide range of materials engineered for today’s demanding thermal spray markets, including MCrAlYs, metals, alloys, carbides, ceramic oxides, composite powders and precious metal powders, for flame spray, plasma spray, HVOF and detonation spray applications.

UCT also manufactures thermal spray wires owing to professor Jia Yongchang’s pioneering work in the manufacturing of cored wire for arc spray process in China. And today, the wire products made by UCT have already been widely used in China’s arc spray and flame spray applications.
